Longfellow Logo Caps
Longfellow Elementary is selling Mountain Lion Logo caps as a benefit for third grade teacher, Ms. Mary Redfern-White. Mary is battling cancer and has been on long-term leave of absence since the beginning of this year.
Youth and Adult caps are available.
Price.... $10.00/cap - a few still available in the office
We have decided to designate the last Friday of each month as official HAT DAY. Students will be encouraged to wear their Mountain Lion caps, or other hats, on these days.

Change in Student Handbook Information Regarding Attendance:
Arrival and Tardiness (pg. # 1)
STUDENTS ARE NOT TO ARRIVE AT LONGFELLOW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BEFORE 7:45 AM. There will be no outside supervision before this time and students are not to be in the building before 7:45 AM.
The morning bell rings at 8:20 AM. Students are to proceed to their classrooms at that time. Students, who are not in their classrooms, by 8:25 AM., will be counted as tardy. Tardy students must check in and get a pass from the office before continuing to their classroom.

SPECIAL NOTICE: Mary Redfern-White
In April 2009 Longfellow teacher Mary Redfern-White was diagnosed with a type of bone cancer called Osteosarcoma.
