LONGFELLOW – A Great Place for “Kids”
The Principal’s “PAW PRIDE” program recognizes students when they have demonstrated positive citizenship or improved performance. These awards are given by any staff member of Longfellow Elementary.
The award process starts with a certificate filled out by a staff member indicating why the student is being recognized. The awarded student then takes the certificate to the principal. Mr. Estell transfers the information from the certificate to a paw imprint that is then displayed on the “PAW PRIDE” bulletin board across the hallway from his office. In addition, the student receives a small token of appreciation for contributing to a positive school climate.
